Panama has a number of fantastic golf courses and golf course communities. For those interested in golfing in the city of Panama, golfers have the following golf courses to choose from:
The Panama Golf Club is Panama’s oldest golf course. It is a private club located in the “Club de Golf” district, near Brisas de Golf. It is a challenging, hilly par 72 course located about 25 minutes from the city. There are also homes for sale near this Panama golf course community.
In the other direction from the city (to the north), you will find Summit Golf Course which is Panama City’s most recently remodeled golf course. It is located in beautiful Summit National Park and features some very distinct topography amidst a very lush, tropical setting. 18 holes with a cart will cost right around $90.00.Summit Golf Course: designed by Jeffrey Myers.
Toucan Country Club is located just outside of Panama City, towards the west just over the bridge of the Americas. It is a par 72 course and is generally flat, wide open, and forgiving.
Future city Panama golf courses include the course at Kobbe Hills in Panama Pacifico and Santa Maria near Costa del Este.
Head outside of Panama City and you will find the following:
In Coronado, you’ll find the 18 hole, Tom Fazio designed Coronado Country Club course. Vista Mar features some splendid holes designed my Michael Poellot. And of course the Decameron Panama Golf Course.

In construction is the Jack Nicklaus golf course in fabulous Buenaventura due for completion by the end of this year.
